When a league brings together some of the most celebrated names in world cricket, the storytelling needs to match the stature. For the Legends Pro T20 League, Ekaagra Films was entrusted with building a content universe that went beyond match-day action—creating a distinct identity for the league and its teams, while tapping into the cultural pulse of its host destination, Goa.
We conceptualised and produced brand films for all participating teams, crafting individual narratives that reflected their legacy, personality, and fan appeal. Each film was designed to feel larger than sport—positioning the teams as cultural entities rather than just competitors.
In parallel, we collaborated with Goa Tourism to create a series of destination-led content pieces, seamlessly blending cricket with travel and local experiences. Featuring globally recognised players like Harbhajan Singh, Eoin Morgan, Carlos Brathwaite, and Piyush Chawla, the films showcased a different side of these legends—off the pitch, immersed in Goa’s vibrant culture.
From Harbhajan Singh experiencing the calm of Miramar Beach, to Eoin Morgan at the iconic Dona Paula viewpoint, and Carlos Brathwaite exploring the historic Fort Aguada, each piece was designed to feel personal, unscripted, and visually immersive. Piyush Chawla’s introduction to a traditional Konkani thali added another layer of authenticity—celebrating local flavours through a global lens.
One of the standout moments from the campaign was a spontaneous beach cricket game featuring the legends, capturing the pure, unfiltered joy of the sport—stripped of stadium lights, yet rich in nostalgia and connection.
The content resonated instantly. The films not only amplified the league’s digital presence but also strengthened its positioning as a premium, experience-led sporting property. High engagement rates, strong organic traction, and widespread sharing across platforms reinforced the campaign’s impact.
For Ekaagra Films, this project was about reimagining how cricket is experienced—not just as a sport, but as a story that travels beyond boundaries.
